Not good

We haven't got the results from the glandular fever test yet, but the liver fuction test that Mister Bear had last week has come back dodgy.  This mirrors the results from 1996 and 1998 when he was really sick, and things are just not looking good, folks.  He is not as sick as he was back in either '96 or '98 so that's encouraging on the one hand.  On the other, I gave up work 5 weeks ago and if Mister Bear is unable to work for an extended period, or if his current employer won't okay his working from home in the short term, we are up creek without proverbial canoe.

Not good.

Tips

Don't buy a cordless mouse.  Just, don't.

Don't buy non-standard ink cartridges if you print a lot of photos or other important things for scrapbook pages or friends' birthday presents (Hi SuperJ).

Don't sleep in past 6.30am if you have an 8.15 meeting and two children to get ready for playschool/school, including showers, dressing and breakfast.  Go on, ask me how I know this.

Don't forget to change the kitty litter for two days when it is rainy and you've got the heating on.

Ok, I admit it.  I am addicted to Tumblebugs.

One year ago  Just out of interest I have listed my to dos from 12 months ago today, comments in red

1. Lose 33 pounds lost 11 pounds
2. Get an eyebrow wax  gave up on this...would rather spend the money on scrapbooking stuff
3. Have a facial nope
4. Get a makeover at Myer yep, but gave up on wearing make up...too much fuss and bother
5. Buy some new shoes did
6. Get foils did
7. And a really good hair cut did
8. Declutter the house still doing
9. Pack all my teaching resources just about to pack them up again
10. Locate all my teaching resources and THEN pack them lol
11. Get quotes on a housecleaner who will also iron not needed only work part time
Two years ago nothing interesting happened, apparently ;)
