For the first time in quite a few years I missed celebrating my Blog Birthday! Chickafinty-A Life in the Laundry began 9 years ago at Diaryland. Shortly after it began, it moved to Blogger and then, in March 2004 (I think) it moved to its permanent home here at Typepad.
What an amazing nine years it has been. Chickfinty began a few days before my grandmother died in 2002, and several months before Ladybug was born. For the past nine years Chickafinty has been my brain dump place and I am very grateful for it.
I am also grateful for you, my readers. Thank you for coming along on the ride :)
