meet Gypsy, the newest member of the family.

Gypsy is a 9-12 month old Heinz variety that we found through petrescue.com.au.  She's gorgeous and *extremely* popular :)

You might have noticed...

that I am no longer on Facebook.

It was a hard decision to make, and it was made relatively quickly, which made it harder.

The reason is not one that I can go into here, but it comes under the heading of Philippians 2:3, 4

³Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. ⁴Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

I am still here though, and the exciting news will be shared asap.

First attempts

These aren't exactly going to set the scrapbook world ablaze, but I am happy with them.

These represent my first two efforts at digital scrapbooking.  No mess, no fuss, no storage of embellies/papers/cardstock etc and a LO can be completed in less than an hour.

The weekend has a downside

On Friday the house was lovely.

On Saturday morning the house was lovely.

It's Monday morning and the house is cactus.

This *always* happens on the weekend and it is so frustrating!!

Still, the kids are onboard to doing something about it, with the carrot of finishing our artworks for the loungeroom wall dangling.

We're going to take another week's holiday, this time for me to do some marking and programming and then we'll pick up with our regular schedule next week.

Fun times are in the offing.

Who knew?

Nine days ago I wrote this and under point #1 I had SERVE, with an open-ended 'if opportunity comes' attached.

Well, knock me over with a dead fish if two different opportunities didn't come my way yesterday, from out of a clear blue sky and an unexpected source.

I've got two projects on the "thinking and praying" pile right now.  They're not up to the point at which I could share, but as soon as I can I will.

One would involve a certain amount of honesty and punch-in-the-guts authenticity, not to mention tact, and from that point of view it scares me a bit, but my prayer is that God will make it clear whether to proceed or not.

Be careful what you pray for ;)
